Her Summer Jam snafu has folks upset
Yesterday, Nicki Minaj skipped her scheduled performance at Hot 97's annual Summer Jam concert because she felt dissed by the radio station's DJ Peter Rosenberg.
Since then, fellow jockey Funkmaster Flex has come to his side in support.
Rosenberg originally told the crowd:
“I know there are some chicks here waiting to sing [Nicki Minaj's] ‘Starships’ later. I’m not talking to ya’ll right now. F**k that bullshit. I’m here to talk about real hip-hop shit. People here to see A$AP Rocky today. People here to see Schoolboy Q on this stage. That’s the shit I represent.”
Soon after, it was revealed that Minaj would be disappointing her hundreds of fans by not performing.

Later in the night, Flex echoed Rosenberg's same sentiment and berated Minaj for not showing. He said:
“We ain’t fu**in’ with commercial rappers no more. If you lost the fu**in’ streets, it’s your fault. If you don’t go gold, it’s your fault. I’m dedicated to tearing you down. If you not buying no more commercial albums, hit me on Twitter right now.”
Was Nicki right to let down her ticket-holders?
