Should a new generation of actors take on the roles?
F. Gary Gray will direct Straight Outta Compton, the upcoming biopic that will tell the story of ever-controversial late 80's rap group N.W.A.
Gray beat out famed director John Singleton for the opportunity, despite Singleton having previously worked with Ice Cube - a former member of N.W.A. - on the 1991 hit film Boyz N the Hood.

Gray, however, maintained a professional relationship with Cube as well, having directed him in the 1995 fan-favorite comedy Friday, as well one of Cube's first solo videos "It Was a Good Day."
Huffington Post reports that Straight Outta Compton will likely have a "Behind the Music" feel, alluding to the popular VH1 documentary series.
No word yet on casting, but who do you think should take on the roles of the late Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, DJ Yella, and Arabian Prince?
