ON BEING NOMINATED:It is truly an honor to be selected as one of the most influential young people of color on Capitol Hill. I share Loop 21 and IMPACT’s commitment to diversity in the workplace and within policy discussions. As a public servant, I believe the government should provide a strong safety net for all Americans, ensure regulations and policies protect and ensure economic growth while working closely with our partners in the private sector. I have committed my career to empowerment, engagement and service through the government. I am honored to join the other nominees and humbly share this honor with them.
