During the Presidential Debate on Tuesday night, Republican challenger Mitt Romney was asked about equal pay and his response has gone viral. "I went to a number of women's groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks,' and they brought us whole binders full of women," Romney said referring to his search for female employees to be included in his cabinet while governor of Massachusetts. The reply sparked the creation of a social media meme. Shortly after the debate, the Tumblr photoblog “Binders Full of Women” was launched. A parody Twitter account, named @Romneys_Binder, was created and gained over 13,000 followers by Wednesday morning. Twitter users also started a trending topic #ReplaceWomanWithBinderInSongTitle to which they contributed with suggestions including "I'm Every Binder" and "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Binder." Also, the Facebook page Binders Full Of Women had over 32,000 likes by the time the time moderator Candy Crowley concluded the event. (Huffington Post)
