Docs expect full recovery
Hillary Clinton was released from the hospital Wednesday after being treated for a blood clot. The Secretary of State suffered a concussion in mid-December which the clot stemmed from. The concussion too was the result of an earlier illness -- a stomach virus she picked up during a trip to Europe that led to dehydration and a fainting spell upon returning to the United States. But doctors of New York-Presbyterian Hospital are confident in her recovery. "Secretary Clinton was discharged from the hospital this evening. Her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident she will make a full recovery. [She is] eager to get back to the office," said Philippe Reines, a deputy assistant secretary of state. (Reuters)
