Conservative shock-jock says his interruption of Obama wasn't racist

Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh is defending the Daily Caller reporter who recently criticized President Obama during his press conference announcing his new position on immigration, according to Politico.

Limbaugh dismissed accusations today that Daily Caller reporter Neil Munro's interruptions of President Obama were disrespectful and racist.

“They want this guy censored. They want him thrown in jail for not showing proper respect to the king,” the conservative radio host said, according to a transcript of his show. “Anybody ever heard the name Sam Donaldson? Oh, for crying out loud, what do you think Sam Donaldson did to Reagan all during the 80’s? … [Dan] Rather did it to Nixon. I mean this is common. This is what journalists are supposed to do out there.”

Limbaugh defended Daily Caller Editor-in-Chief Tucker Carlson's comments that nothing was wrong with Munro's question. Limbaugh even said that Obama shows a lean towards "outsiders."

“You ask the president a question when he’s usurping the Constitution, and guess who gets in trouble? You do. You’re not supposed to interrupt the king like this,” he said. “All Munro did was ask the question that should have been on the mind of every American watching: Why do you favor foreigners over Americans here?”

Responding to critics who thought Munro's interruption was racist, Limbaugh said, “Everyone knows Munro was heckling Obama’s white half."
