Michael Moore Pens Open Letter To President Obama

Filmmaker asks, "fix the sad mess we're in."

Filmmaker and professional feather ruffler Michael Moore has penned an open letter to the newly re-elected President Barack Obama asking, suggesting and at some points demanding that he "fix the sad mess we're in."

The lengthy plea appears in a column Moore writes for The Huffington Post and also contains a list of suggestions including:

End all wars now

End the drug war

Declare a moratorium on foreclosures and evictions

Reduce student loan debt

"You have to do the job we elected you to do. You have to take your massive 126-electoral vote margin and just go for it," says Moore. 

He also states, "We want real change. And if we can't get it in the second term of a great and good man like you, then really -- what's the use? Why are we even bothering? Yes, we're that discouraged and disenchanted."
