Michele Bachmann Leaves Campaign Staffers Unpaid

The staffers must sign a nondisclosure agreement before they receive any payment.
Michele Bachmann is holding out on funds to former campaign staffers until they sign a nondisclosure agreement. According to Peter Waldron, the former GOP presidential candidate nominee is said to owe the five Iowa straw-poll staffers $5,000. She reportedly has $2 million left from her campaign. The nondisclosure agreement prevents staffers from telling the media about any “unethical, immoral, or criminal activity” they witnessed on the campaign trail.
This isn’t the first time Bachmann has had issues with staff. In October 2011, the congresswoman lost most of her New Hampshire staff, partly due to lack of payment. (The Daily Beast)
