Romney Accused of "Dyeing Face Brown" For Latino-Targeted Univision Interview

GOP candidate lacks in Latino support

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney appeared on Univision Wednesday, likely in an effort to attract Latino voters, but it was his tan skin tone that left that them talking. Boasting a color several shades darker than citizens are used to seeing of him on the campaign trail, Romney's newly-darkened skin left the Democratic Underground blog to conclude that he "dyed his face brown" for the interview on the Spanish-language network. If true, the calculated move could have been done in an attempt to appeal to Latino voters, a voting bloc Romney desperately needs if he hopes to win the election. He is currently trailing nearly 40 points behind Obama in Latino support. (Huffington Post)
