Nancy Pelosi: Mitt Romney Is Not Going to Win

Former House Speaker looks forward to return of bipartisan Congress

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she (and others) is confident that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will not be president after voters go to the polls in November. “Oh, Mitt Romney’s not going to be president of the United States,” Pelosi said during a weekend appearance on CNN’s State of the Union. “I think everybody knows that [President Barack Obama will be reelected in November.]” Although Obama leads Romney in a few swing states, leading political analysts are split on the president’s overall advantage. On Tuesday, President Obama will campaign in New York City at a Jay-Z and Beyonce hosted fundraiser. Romney’s number two, Rep. Paul Ryan, will town hall and a rally in New Hampshire and Virginia.
