ON BEING NOMINATED: It is an honor to be nominated by Loop 21 and IMPACT. Working as President Obama’s liaison to the House Financial Services, Judiciary, the Appropriations Committees and the Congressional Black Caucus allows me to do all I can on behalf of the President to create an economy built to last, continue our efforts to assist African American families around the county, and collaborate with dedicated staffers on the Capitol Hill.
