Has promised U.S. will prevent Iran from getting weaponry
President Obama will talk about securing nuclear weapons Monday afternoon. The POTUS will deliver remarks at the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) symposium to note the extraordinary progress the project's made at tracking down and securing "loose nukes" that went missing after the end of the Cold War. He will also meet with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov of Bulgaria at the White House, and plans to thank Bulgaria for "its valuable contributions to the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan," says the White House. The two leaders also plan to discuss the summer bus bombing that killed five Israeli tourists at a Bulgarian airport. (USA Today)
