Civil Rights leader presses the President on black unemployment and the sequester
It’s Black History Month. Not to sound cynical or anything, but if President Barack Obama was to sit down for one-on-one interviews with black media figures, February is the time to do. He did that on Thursday morning, conducting radio interviews with Rev. Al Sharpton, Joe Madison and Yolanda Adams. Sharpton’s interview focused on what Black History Month means to Obama, the struggle for black America to rise out of the Great Recession and the threat a government spending sequester would have on African American communities.
