And no, I’m not making this up either. A study published in the journal Hormones and Behavior has linked those who practice a vegetarian lifestyle with increased sexual activity. Phytoestrogens, which are often referred to as “sex hormones” are found in many of the foods that vegetarians eat, influencing their sex lives.
2. Healthy living
Because of a Vegetarians’ diet, they are less likely to develop health problems such as heart disease, cancer risk and cognitive decline. According to The Vegetarian Times, a meat-free diet is inherently healthier than an omnivore diet.
3. Vegetarians are a lot happier
According to a study by the British Journal of Health Psychology, eating more fruit and vegetables can easily improve your mood, ultimately resulting in greater calmness and feelings of happiness.
So before the meat lover in you quickly rules out the next Vegetarian that approaches, remember there is a plus side to this thing.
