Would You Let a Man Buy You Plastic Surgery?
Gold diggers of the world, finding your next prey is now a click away.
A creepy new matchmaking app called Carrot Dating has entered the dubious online dating world that allows users to offer each other things like a tank of gas or plastic surgery in exchange for a date.
Gifts :: Dates; Chivalry :: Dead.
The press release makes no bones about it: "There’s only one method of manipulation that has stood the test of time: bribery. It’s a concept so simple that even animals understand -- give a dog a bone, and it will obey. Give a woman a present, and she’ll..."
She'll WHAT? And yes, they just compared women to dogs. If you didn't catch it already, the app gets its name from dangling a carrot or in front of someone's eyes, or in some cases, someone who can foot the bill for plastic surgery.
The statement continues about how users can "accept gifts/activities for a first date, with men and women being tempted with offers such as plastic surgery or a tank of gas for a 'yes.' What doesn’t work: messaging and hoping."
The app was founded by professional creeper Brandon Wade, who also started "sugar daddy" dating site Seeking Arrangement.
