Rapper Rick Ross' mansion is the scene of an investigation after a man was found dead in front of the Miami rapper's home.

An unidentified 40-year-old man was found shot to death in front of the Miami Gardens mansion.

Ross was reportedly not home when the murder occurred and is not considered to be a suspect, according to Allhiphop.com. But police are looking to question the rapper whose rhymes are filled with talk of the good life and murder in some instances.

TMZ is reporting that the former corrections officer-turned-rapper left the premises before homicide detectives arrived. Police found the victim laying inside a gate at the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
