10 Things You Didn't Know About Rick Santorum
1 year ago
Like how he thinks homosexuality is like "man on dog" sex.
Now that he and Mitt Romney have taken Iowa, its only befitting that we provide you with some interesting facts about the controversial Santorum.
1. Santorum tried to cheat the system by having his children attend the Western Pennsylvania Charter School while actually living in Virginia. He was later caught and withdrew his children from the school and started homeschooling them.
2. He was born in Winchester, VA but both of his parents are of Italian descent; his father, an Italian immigrant, and his mother, half Italian and half Irish, both worked for the government.
3. He was a part of the Gang of Seven that was tasked with naming the representatives involved in the House Banking Scandal
4. He’s against gay marriage (go figure), yet alone homosexuality as a whole. During an interview with the Associated Press in 2003, he said, “I have a problem with homosexual acts” and any other acts “anti-ethical to a healthy, stable, traditional family.” He later tried to save himself and “clarify” his words but it didn’t work.
5. Because of these remarks, Santorum’s name now means “the frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex." This was all due to a campaign Dan Savage created against Mr. Santorum. He created a website to spread the definition and said that he would take it down if Mr. Santorum donated $5 million to a gay rights group. He hasn’t done so. Tisk Tisk. Well, he did compare gay sex to “man on dog” sex.
