Romney, Perry Lead GOP Pack in Money Raised
One frontrunner’s campaign is almost money poor by comparison.
There’s no wondering why Newt Gingrich insists he won’t run TV ads attacking his opponents. His campaign has almost no money to do it, according to the most recent reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.
As a frontrunner, Gingrich trails his opponents in money raised by up to $29 million. Mitt Romney, more specifically, had raised $32.6 million to Gingrich’s $2.9 million as of Sept. 30. New campaign financial statements are due to the FEC tomorrow.
Surely the Romney and Rick Perry headquarters need toilets scrubbed. Put Callista and several campaign interns on the job.
