'BBW': Royce Reveals Shaunie Refused to Film With Her

Royce shares more thoughts about "Basketball Wives" drama.

It’s ironic that Royce Reed got a bad rap when “Basketball Wives” first started because she was spotted dancing raunchily at a pool party during a “How Low” contest put on by Ludacris. Yet, as the show has progressed, she has come out on top as the most level-headed member of the cast (with the exception of the crying incident with her father).

In a recent interview with radio host TT Torrez, Royce expounded on thoughts she has been vocal about for the past couple of months in terms of the direction that the show has taken.

She talked about why she seems a little more distant this season--it’s because she’s tired the petty issues between the girls, but also because Evelyn and...wait for it…Shaunie refused to film with her this season. Evelyn, we understand, but even Royce said she wasn't sure why Shaunie was upset with her--which confirms my theory about Shaunie being the worst mean girl there is; she tries to pretend she’s the fair and balanced one, but not only does she sit around and let the drama unfold but she participates too by deciding when to abruptly not like someone and by helping her “friends” vandalize luxury hotels, but I digress.

Royce also addressed the bullying on the show, calling Tami out as a friend, and her boo Dezmon Briscoe.

On Negativity: Royce said at one time she quit the show because she felt it was going the wrong route. She said she fought to have producers show another side of her and that’s why we get to see other aspects of her life besides the fighting and drama. She added that the show was like a mirror for her and helped her to change her life for the better.
