Think You'll Lose Weight Just By Working Out?
New study shows one-third of U.S. adults are still obese despite increase in physical activity.
Enter a gym and it's filled with people running on a treadmill, lifting weights and taking an aerobics class.
While this is means that more Americans are exercising more, it doesn’t mean they are losing much weight.
More than two-thirds of the nation’s counties have become more physically active in the last decade, but it has not done much to reduce obesity, according to a new report.
Experts say it is because people are not changing their diet and watching what they eat.
More than one-third of U.S. adults and about 17 percent of children are currently obese, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
In other words, this proves what many have said before...in order to loose weight, people must not only exercise but also change their eating habits.
How often do you work out?
