Katherine and La Toya Jackson Loot MJ's Mansion After his Death

Singer reportedly kept money stashed in trash bags and under carpet

Michael Jackson's sister and mother came to the singer’s rented mansion hours after his death looking for garbage bags full of cash, according to details from a new book.

The book alleges that within just hours of Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009, sister La Toya and her boyfriend, Jeffre Phillips, arrived at the house demanding to be admitted, Vanity Fair reports.

The Vanity Fair article quotes information from Randall Sullivan’s book on Michael Jackson, “Untouchable.”

Sullivan’s book says Katherine Jackson also came to the mansion that night and called her dead son’s nanny about the hidden money.

Janet Jackson Questions Validity of Michael's Will

Jackson siblings express concern about executors of Michael Jackson's estate

In a continuation of the Jackson family drama, lawyers for Janet Jackson and her siblings Rebbie and Randy released a statement expressing concern about the executors of Michael Jackson's estate. The Jackson siblings claim that these executors have not been acting in the best interest of their mother, Katherine Jackson, and Michael's three children, and suggest that someone may have forged Michael's signature on his will.

The statement reads: "The executors have never explained how Michael could have signed his will in California on a date that irrefutable evidence establishes he was in New York."

Janet, Rebbie and Randy Jackson want an investigation to determine whether the will is valid, and stress that they do not stand to gain financially if it is found to be invalid, as all money will go to Michael's children. They also say that the executors have been responsible for recent headlines alleging that Katherine Jackson had been kidnapped and that Janet Jackson verbally and physically abused Michaels's daughter, Paris--false information that was leaked to the media, they say, to draw attention from the real issue at hand, which is Michael's allegedly fake will.

Michael Jackson's Family: Feud Explodes After Matriarch Drama

Scuffle breaks out at family compound between children and grandchildren

Leave it to TMZ to get the biggest scoop on one of the global entertainment industry’s most well-known families.

It turns out that the missing person's report, filed by members of Michael Jackson’s family, was small part of a family feud, now boiling to the surface.

Janet Jackson appeared displeased with her late brother’s daughter, Paris, as video shows the two in a cold exchange over her niece’s tweets about the drama.

While some reports have called what’s seen in the surveillance video a “fight,” those in charge of managing the Jackson family estate say much more is going on.

From an Associated Press report:

"We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances," (estate) executors John Branca and John McClain wrote in a letter posted on fan sites hours after deputies responded to a family disturbance at the hilltop home where Katherine Jackson and her three grandchildren live.

The AP reports Michael’s brother, Randy Jackson, has accused the executors of criminal misconduct and of drafting a fake will for the deceased pop icon.

The folks at TMZ say it’s all an attempt by the family to get at the money left to Katherine Jackson and Michael’s three kids. His siblings are all left out of the will.

Katherine Jackson is Safe With Family, L.A. Sheriff Says

Missing person report, tweets splits family on matriarch’s well being

After conflicting reports from various members of her family, Katherine Jackson is said to be safe and resting in Arizona on doctor’s orders, the Associated Press reports.

Jackson, the mother of late music icon Michael Jackson and guardian of his three children, was following a doctor’s order to “de-stress” and go off the grid, according to a statement her son Jermaine Jackson.

Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Pope confirmed that statement, after making contact with Katherine Jackson, who was with her daughter Rebbie.

Two members of the Jackson family, including Michael Jackson’s eldest child, Paris, raised concerns about Mrs. Jackson’s whereabouts in tweets. An unnamed family member filed a missing person report.

News reports suggest Katherine Jackson’s retreat in Arizona stemmed from stressful dealings with her son’s massive estate and will.

From the AP story:

The incident demonstrated divisions in the Jackson family just days after five of the singer's siblings once again claimed that the King of Pop's will was a fake and that the executors of his lucrative estate should step down.

The undated letter, signed by Janet, Randy, Tito, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson, claimed Katherine Jackson was being manipulated by the executors, John Branca and John McClain, her health had been affected, and she suffered a mini-stroke.

The estate has denied the accusations, which have swirled since Michael Jackson died from an overdose of a powerful anesthetic. Katherine Jackson obtained permission from a judge to investigate the will's validity, but never pursued the matter in court.

It was unclear who was taking care of Michael Jackson’s children, while Katherine Jackson was away.
