La La Sticks With Carmelo, but Lives Separately

While Carmelo has been in New York, La La has been living in L.A.

New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and his wife La La are reportedly living separately. According the New York Post, the couple hasn’t seen much of each other in the past few months. “She’s been away a lot filming her show, ‘La La’s Full Court Life,’ in London, New York and LA. They are not separated and are still together. She and Melo have a house in LA—so she’s always there when she’s doing auditions.”

Following Monday’s game, Celtics’ Kevin Garnett set off Carmelo Anthony when he allegedly said La La “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.”  Following the post-game confrontation between the ball players, speculation over infidelity flew. However, sources are insisting that’s not the root of the couple’s split. (NY Post)

Carmelo Anthony Settles Beef With Kevin Garnett

NBA stars had phone conversation after heated confrontation.

NBA superstars Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett have reportedly cleared the air after an altercation on Monday night.

After a game between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, Anthony waited outside of the Celtics' team bus to confront Garnett about comments he allegedly made about his wife LaLa Vasquez.

Comments on social media suggest that Garnett, a known trash talker, said that Vasquez either smells or tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios. The comments have not be confirmed by either party. But whatever was said, Anthony was insulted and threatened to see Garnett after the game was over.

The two never crossed paths, but they have since talked on the phone to settle the situation.

"I wanted to talk to KG," Anthony told reporters on Tuesday. "I think it was something that we both needed to get off our chests and see what really was the problem. It wasn't no altercations, it was just some words and [a] conversation that we needed to have."

He continued, "It's certain things that you just don't say to men, another man. I felt that he crossed the line. Like I said, we're both at an understanding right now, we handled it the way we handled it. Nobody needs to know what was said behind closed doors. So that situation is handled."
