Judge Orders Psych Evaluation For NYC Subway Push Suspect

Woman who pushed a man off platform laughed hysterically in courtroom.

A judge has ordered a psychiatric evaluation for the woman who is accused of pushing a man off of a New York City subway platform.

31-year-old Erika Mendez says she's hated Muslims and Hindus since the 9/11 attacks and thought the man she pushed was one. Adding insult to injury, Mendez laughed uncontrollably while being arraigned in court.

The man she pushed, Sunando Sen, was a Hindu immigrant.
