Tamar Braxton Sends Twitter Jabs to Jill Scott Over Perceived Insult

Woman to woman, who would win?

Tamar Braxton and Jill Scott got into a Twitter beef today - all because of what Tamar perceived as a slight coming from Jill. Read the tweets:

Now, was that shade being thrown toward the Braxtons, who also have a show on WEtv, or could Scott simply have been referring to the recent rash of general ratchetness seen on reality show? In any event, the baby of the Braxton bunch responded:

At least Tamar admitted that she feeling sensitive but, of course, being the drama queen that she is, she kept going with the theatrics and began speaking in third person (which, if you’re familiar with the show, you know she likes to do):

Finally, Jill Scott ends the back and forth (sort of):

What the heck was that? I don’t think Jill meant any disrespect to the Braxtons. And even if she isn’t a fan of their “Family Values” show, it doesn’t mean that her comment about Mary Mary was disrespectful.

It’s probably as simple this: that she finally sees a representation of herself on TV. Not every show is for everyone. I watch all of these shows and not one of them really represents me, but they’re still entertaining. However, if I were to finally see a show about mid 20-early 30-somethings who are engaging in behavior and activities that I actually cosign then I’d probably tweet something similar to Miss Jilly from Philly.

If you watch “Braxton Family Values,” then you already know that Tamar is sensitive and dramatic, so this is probably what that is. But the internet is quite the playground for subliminal insults and people’s unnecessary reactions, so you never can tell unless the person clarifies their comments.

Anyway, what are your thoughts? Was Jill Scott’s tweet a shot?
