"Tanisha Gets Married" with Dueling Bridesmaids by her Side
Here's how you can avoid such a mishap
Oxygen’s docu-series “Tanisha Gets Married” has been very entertaining thus far—and that was just based on the antics of Tanisha and her fiancé, alone.
Tonight, extra Bad Girls will be added to the mix and it’s going to get insane. Flo and Natalie Nunn from Season 4 have been granted the honor of being Tanisha’s bridesmaids, but they have lingering beef stemming from their season of the show. Obviously, because these are former bad girls, they still have trouble getting along, as you can see in the clips below where the ladies almost brawl at her bridal shower.

Flo has said in the past that her problem with Natalie is that she’s two-faced; she's nice and down-to-Earth until the cameras get on and then she acts a’fool. I can attest to this; I've interviewed Natalie in the past and she was nothing like her bad girl persona - as in, she was nice and behaved normally. I also have an acquaintance who knows her personally and pretty much said the same thing, so I can understand Flo’s frustration. It’s hard to build a friendship with someone who is so changeable.
As far as the whole bridesmaids thing, Tanisha knew it was a risk putting both women in her party. She had a chat with each woman beforehand and warned them to behave, but I’m going to guess that it gets worse than what we’ve seen in the videos.
I got married in January and luckily I didn’t have the drama of dueling bridesmaids, because I only had one. However, I’ve seen it happen to other people so it’s obviously not just a Bad Girl problem. I was going to come up with tips for dealing with unruly bridesmaids, but it’s really simple: If your girls can’t conduct themselves properly, even after you chat with them about how to make that happen, then they have to go.
Realistically, the stress of a wedding is so intense that even when they say they’ll be cordial toward each other, most likely they won’t keep their word. If such is the case then give both women the axe. That way, neither one can say that you’ve shown favoritism toward the other.
The most surprising thing about wedding planning is that people around you will show their true colors—some for the better, but a lot more people than you think will change for the worst (this is something Tanisha and I discussed in my recent interview with her). Even though it’s your day, there are a lot of people who get selfish and do what they can to make it about them. Minimize this by cutting the drama.
