Attention Apple and Google: Microsoft has officially thrown down the gauntlet.
The last few years of Microsoft-backed phones? Irrelevant. Now that Microsoft spent a cool $7.2 billion buying Nokia - it's in prime position to compete with Apple and Google for smartphone market share.
Kiddos, Nokia is the second largest phone manufacturer in the world. That gives Microsoft some serious edge!
