Samsung spies on Apple and Nokia
It's the technology version of Twilight's love triangle.
It looks as though a few Samsung execs viewed a confidential patent-licensing deal between Apple and Nokia. The result: Court.
The rules state that such access is prohibited, however, Samsung was since told otherwise, and therefore viewed the terms despite risking dispute.
In retrospect, the fearless and curious executives should have thought twice.
Court documents were filed in the US Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday suggesting Samsung's unlawful access to the private documents.
Magistrate Paul Grewal covered the case of infringement with a request for confidentiality and details to not be disclosed.
"At this point, things get murky," Grewal said.
