Siri Has a Face
...and she lives in Georgia.
Susan Bennett of Sandy Springs, Georgia holds the face of the voice that is Apple's infamously recognized virtual assistant, Siri.
Confirmed by an audio forensic expert, the longtime mystery has been revealed, and Susan Bennett, herself, didn't even know she'd become the voice of something so monumental.
Having laid down the recordings eight years ago, the idea of a "smart" phone had yet to be established at that time, let alone one with a built-in virtual assistant.
Bennett fell into the world of voice work accidentally in the 1970s. Nearly half a century later, she is the voice that we hear on the intercoms of Delta airport terminals, on GPS systems, and of course, Apple's iPhone.
Ever wonder what it feels like to know that more than 100 million people hear your voice daily?
