Twitter Changes Spark Mad Tweeters
While meant to bring clarity, what’s clear is the confusion.
As with any social media site tweak, Twitter’s new “blue line” has tweeters angry.
The new feature is supposed to make it easier to follow conversations via tweets. However, it's mixing up the timeliness of the timeline, drawing confusion instead.
“Tweets that are part of a conversation are shown in chronological order so it’s
easier for you to follow along,” said Jinen Kamdar of Twitter.
Similar to every time that Facebook adds something new or creates a site change, users will most likely get used to the new layout and forget the original one even existed. This is not the first time Twitter has made a tweak, and it won’t be the last.
