For many people, their smartphone is the first and last thing they see everyday, according to a study
. While phones may be helping you multitask on a whole other level, there is a downside: they are making you less attractive.
Here are the top four ways your phone is affecting your appearance.
Red eyes. Staring at your mobile device for hours while you seamlessly navigate through apps can cause your eyes to dry out and get red.
Dark circles and bags
. Some research says the radiation that emits from cell phones cause headaches and even interrupt important sleep patterns
. If you don’t get enough solid sleep, where do you think it’ll show first? Your face.
Wrinkles. Consistently squinting to see the tiny font on your screen is causing you to form some series wrinkles on your forehead which can develop over time.
Bad skin. You may not know it, but mobile devices carry more bacteria than toilets. How gross is that? Now can you picture all those germs going on your face? Can you hear your pores screaming?
