It appears George Zimmerman was, in fact, injured during the confrontation he had with Trayvon Martin.
Last week, a video surfaced showing a handcuffed Zimmerman being escorted into the Sanford Police Department on the same night in which he shot and killed Martin.
It initially appeared as though Zimmerman was unharmed and showed no signs of being treated violently, but an enhanced video has since been released and a bloody injury can now be seen on his head.
ABC's Matt Gutman said the network re-digitized the video to reveal what appears to be "a pair of gashes or welts."
This new evidence may support Zimmerman's account of what happened that night - that Martin jumped him from behind, punched him in the nose (which was later reported to be broken), and pounded his head into the sidewalk.
This news comes soon after a funeral director, who handled the body of Martin, said that he found no cuts or signs of a fight on the teen.
