Meagan Good Was in Talks to Star in Whitney Biopic

Good says she met with Houston for a possible movie project

Now that pop diva Whitney Houston has been laid to rest, the race to bring her life to the big screen is heating up.

In an interview with E! Online, actress Meagan Good revealed that she and Whitney Houston were in early talks for Good to star as the iconic singer on film. "We were fairly in the beginning stages," Good said.  

Recently, R&B singer Brandy shared the same dream with True Exclusives, saying, "I know there's a lot of talented ladies out there, but no one can play Whitney like me."

Both ladies bring something to the table. Brandy had a personal relationship with Houston and was able to observe her mannerisms, while Good has more acting experience.
