Who do you think would play Whitney best?

Though it's too soon in our minds to begin planning a Whitney Houston biopic, Hollywood wastes no time when it comes to making money. It is being reported that singers and actresses are already being considered to play the legend on screen.

According to the Daily Mail, Clive Davis, the record label boss who discovered Houston at a young age, is heading the biopic project and wants a script finalized as soon as possible.

Though Meagan Good has already revealed she was in talks to play the star, rumors have begun flying and more names have been dropped into the hat.

Rihanna is in the running, but note that she turned down The Bodyguard remake last year, saying, "I hate it when singers do singing movies all the time, because you can never look at them as anybody else. I want to play a character. My whole life is playing Rihanna; being a singer won't be a stretch for me."

Jordin Sparks is also a candidate and would be a good pick as she was one the last people to work with Houston professionally, on the remake of the upcoming film Sparkle. (See a sneak peek here!)

Jennifer Hudson is on the short list, as well, as her Academy Award-winning work in Dreamgirls as a singer who suffers a fall from fame hasn't gone unnoticed.

Lastly, Vivica A. Fox is being considered and though she hasn't had a major role that showcased her vocal talent, she stole the show as one of Frankie Lymon's 3 wives in Why Do Fools Fall In Love?
