A music executive said that singer Whitney Houston looked healthy and beautiful days before her death, according to CNN.

The executive, who did want to be identified, said he saw Whitney and her daughter Bobbi Kristina swimming happily in a hotel pool, a few days earlier.

Houston was ruled dead at 3:55 p.m. pacific time yesterday and her cause of death is unclear; though there are rumors of prescription pill bottles being at the scene.

Houston was born in Newark, New Jersey, on August 9, 1963, the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston.

She was 48 years old.
