Why Does CNN Keep Saying 'F*cking Nigger' On Live TV?
CNNigger?
Obviously, a couple of reporters at CNN didn't get Chris Rock's memo about the N-word and when white people are allowed to say it.
Over the last two weeks, two CNN reporters have dropped the N-bomb, all for the sake of keeping the story authentic. The latest instance came courtesy of Susan Candiotti who went for the deathblow and added the F-bomb as she read a Facebook message from 19-year-old Jacob England who is responsible for the "Tulsa shootings" where he shot five black male pedestrians on the anniversary of his father's death. His dad was killed by a black man.
"And it reads like this," Candiotti begins. "Today is two years that my dad has been gone, shot by' -- and please excuse the language, it's very sensitive -- 'Shot by a fucking nigger."
CNN Newsroom anchor Fredricka Whitfield, who is black, apologized to the viewers for Candiotti's colorful language. Not sure if she was apologizing for the "fucking" or "nigger" part.
This was pretty much a repeat performance of Drew Griffin's reporting on the James Anderson hate crime.
While quoting one of the teens who ran over Anderson with a pickup truck, Griffin insisted that there was "no other way to say this" before saying "I just ran over that F'ing nigger." Actually, there are plenty of other ways to say it, one of them is by not saying it all. But at least he was polite enough to not say the f-word like Candiotti did.
To be fair, Don Lemon said it once too.
Are you offended by CNNigger's behavior as of late? Or do you think it's a part of the job to repeat things verbatim? Why are they having such a hard time using the less controversial "N-word" phrase nowadays?
If Snoop Dogg can go an entire interview with Larry King without letting a N-word slip out of his mouth, why can't CNN reporters find ways around saying it?
